Trapiche is a rare geological formation, that occurs in a hand full of various types of precious gemstones. Trapiche amethyst, like other trapiche gems, exhibits a unique "spoke" or radiating pattern due to a specific growth process where the crystal grows in sectors independently, allowing a second mineral inclusion to form within the gaps, or a separate and independent crystal lint structure.
