Making

What began in 2019 as a desire to wear treasures I'd found soon grew into a deep obsession. My ethos of craftsmanship is shaped by the skilled artisans in my life and a deep respect for process. My approach is meticulous, built on doing and redoing. I believe in creating quality over quantity—always striving not just for beauty, but for connection.  I studied fabrication, stone setting, and wax carving—learning through experimentation, mentorship, and many late nights at the bench after my kids had gone to bed.

Inspiration

I’m inspired by the beauty of the Chesapeake bay and its stories, by the natural gemstones I use in my work, and the moments that string our lives together—sandy bums, moon lit dances, muddy hikes, birthday candles, bedtime stories, and the way light hits a windowsill just right. I hope to impart a little bit of all of that in every piece I make. Each one is designed and fabricated by hand in my studio in Annapolis, Maryland, with intention, curiosity, and a bit of magic. I hope my jewelry brings you joy—a talisman you reach for again and again, something that feels like you.

Life

When I’m not at the bench, I’m with my family- two kids and my husband, Camrin! We're out on the boat, cooking up something yummy, or hiking shorelines in search of fossils and other treasures. In the summer, we spend a few months off-grid on the coast of Maine, restoring a century-old cabin while sleeping inside converted school buses tucked into the trees. We fall asleep to the sound of waves and wake to salty sunrises over the mudflats.

Where are your products manufactured?

Meticulously made by hand start to finish -not manufactured- in Annapolis, MD. Your jewelry is made with intention. Fully designed, sourced and fabricated by Jane using centuries old metalsmithing techniques

Why do you only use natural gemstones?

I am constantly in awe of the beauty found in nature. I choose to showcase earths little treasures rather then focous on machined gemstones. I beilve that natural gemstones enhance the connection and enrich the "story" of a peice of jewlery. Ethical and informed sourcing means that gemstones used in my work are authentic, they support small mining comunities in impoverished areas, they fund lapidary artists and emit less co2 and chemical waste then synthetic and lab grown gems.

Where are your stones from?

I am meticulous and obsessive when it comes to the stones used in my work. Hours of research goes into my stone sourcing. I spend time making true connections with reputable stone sellers, lapidary artists, and even small mining operations- all over the world. This ensures authenticity, quailty, and tracability in the stones I use.
