Megalodon Pendant with Australian Opal

This is a genuine fossilized megalodon tooth. Personally collected from the shores of the Chesapeake. The mouth of the beast this came from swam the oceans between 5-15 million years ago, its ancient power is radiating through this pendant. This sterling silver setting is meticulously hand crafted, allowing for much of the tooth to be shown while securing the tooth for daily wear. Hand sawn, soldered and forged to gently caress the curves and bends unique to this tooth. This securely holds the megalodon tooth into place without damaging or altering the fossil from its original found state.
Feeding damage is present on this megalodon tooth, the natural wear occurred prior to fossilization and is gently concealed yet still visible under its sterling silver "tip" The preservation of this tooth is outstanding, indicated by the still present crisp serrations along the edge of the megalodon tooth.
